Beautiful lounge sofa/daybed model GS195 designed by Gianni Songia for Sormani, Italy 1963. This sofa has a sculptural rosewood sliding frame and gorgeous black leather cushions and seating. The sofa is in very good original condition preserving a beautiful patina from age and usage but as you can see the cushions are still very tight. The sofa can easily be changed from a sofa to a sleeping sofa with only 1 hand. The hidden legs and high back rest creates a floating look of this sofa. Lovely piece of Italian design in very good fully original condition.
